Mit Six Sigma zu besseren Prozessen

Interessant finde ich die Studie allemal (bei Banken+Partner zusammengefasst): 233 Finanzdienstleister im deutschsprachigen Raum wurden von der Frankfurt School of Management & Finance zu Six Sigma befragt.

Die Ergebnisse sind so überwältigend (wenn man dem Ergebnis mal trauen darf), dass eigentlich kein Unternehmen es sich erlauben dürfte, ein Projekt ohne die Six Sigma Methodik durchzuführen. Im KAG-Bereich sind das wohl im Moment nur die großen (DWS, Deka, Union Investment), die mittleren bis kleinen fahren meines Wissens noch "ohne". Aber auch in den Finanzinstituten hat sich Six Sigma wohl noch nicht endgültig durchgesetzt, wie man an anderer Stelle nachlesen kann.

Eines der Logos auf der Web-Seite der Herausgeber der Studie ist das der entory, die bereits von 3 Jahren mit dem Thema in den Markt gegangen ist, und jetzt wohl langsam die Lorbeeren ernten dürfte.

Alpheus Blog

Alpheus hat ein Firmen-Blog eröffnet, dass zunächst intern startet, und wenn es die "Beta"-Phase verlässt, auch öffentlich zugänglich sein wird. Ich werde natürlich hier zu gegebener Zeit einen Eintrag schreiben.

MultiFonds live bei LGT in Liechtenstein

Die 2. von 3 Migrationen in Liechtenstein ist live, zur 1. hatte IGEFI bereits berichtet. Nachdem ich die Projektleitung wegen meines Wechsels zu Alpheus einen Monat vor der 1. Migration abgegeben hatte, hatte Carsten Gering (zu Beginn des Projektes noch bei der Comit, jetzt bei Acarda tätig) sie erfolgreich übernommen. Die 3. und größte Migration findet wohl erst zum Jahresende 2007 statt. Bereits zur 1. Migration ist die Compliance-Lösung MIG21 von Aquin mit in Produktion gegangen.

Link Lists for Investment Systems from Front- to Back-Office

I have compiled lists for fund accounting systems (see the surveys on the resepective topic, here from Barrington), transfer agency (see also the Barrington survey), compliance and order / portfolio management systems and added them as link lists on this blog (displayed on the right side). They will constantly be updated.

You may find other overviews on WallStreetAndTech (in English) and BankersPlus (in German, you might have to register first). Also interesting is the survey from Investment Advisor Association or the general surveys from Celent, or on specific issues on requirements for those systems at SourceMedia.

GCEY and KPMG also do surveys, but the the last publicly available survey on fund accounting systems I found is from 2004.

Die Bank Lounge weisst auf eine interessante Untersuchung hin: Berater e.V. (die studentische Unternehmensberatung an der Universität Mainz) untersucht hier den aktuellen Stand der MiFID-Umsetzung in Deutschland. Die Ergebnisse können dann im Juni auf der Seite www.mifid-studie.de bestellt werden.

Andere Länder sind hier schon längst in der Umsetzung, wir analysieren noch...
